DELIVERY, SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

 This Delivery, Shipping & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through the official website of Uhuru Clothing.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below

1. ORDER PROCESSING

1.1 Orders placed before 14:30 (SAST) on business days (Monday–Friday) are typically processed the same day.
1.2 Orders placed after 14:30 or on weekends/public holidays will be processed the next business day.
1.3 During peak periods (sales, promotions, holidays), processing may take up to 5–7 working days.

Processing time does not include delivery time.

2. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

2.1 Domestic Shipping (South Africa)

Free Standard Shipping on orders over R 800

Standard delivery timelines: 2–5 working days, depending on location

Remote or outlying areas may require additional time

2.2 International Shipping

Free Standard Shipping on orders over R2000

Delivery timelines vary depending on destination country

All international shipments are sent DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid)

Customers are responsible for:

Import duties

Customs taxes

Clearance fees

Any additional government-imposed charges

Uhuru Clothing is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

3. DELIVERY CONDITIONS

3.1 A signature may be required upon delivery.
3.2 Deliveries are made to the address provided at checkout.
3.3 Any person at the delivery address may sign for the parcel.
3.4 Uhuru Clothing is not liable for lost or missing parcels signed for at shared premises (e.g., offices, apartment buildings, campuses).

If delivery attempts fail:

The courier will attempt delivery up to three (3) consecutive business days

If unclaimed after five (5) days without communication, the parcel may be returned to our warehouse

Re-shipping fees may apply

4. PACKAGING

Uhuru Clothing may ship items in eco-friendly, recyclable packaging.
Packaging may be discreet and unbranded externally.

Gift packaging services are not currently offered.

4.1 Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
4.2 Items must be:

  • Unworn

  • Unwashed

  • Unaltered

  • In original condition

  • With all tags attached

  • In original packaging

4.3 Items discounted by 50% or more are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Uhuru Clothing reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.
